Urgent Help Needed!
As many of you know, we have personally had the privilege of helping several incredible, young refugees escape severe danger, hostility, and years of hiding in various Middle Eastern locations. They finally reached safety in Canada two years ago where they can now work, continue their education, and most of all, thrive in a safe country. We, and they, are so incredibly grateful for every single person’s support and help over the years that brought them to this point.
In the summer of 2024, they discovered that some family members they previously thought were killed were actually alive and hiding in the mountains to avoid the new rebel government leaders. This was great news to our friends in Canada as they had only a glimmer of hope this would ever happen. However, their family members are in serious danger. After trying to support them and keep them alive, we found an opportunity for them to join our refugee friends in Canada. This can be a long process, and they will still need to remain in hiding, but there is now so much hope for their safety and reunification with their family members!
This is where you come in. The Canadian government requires refugees to have sponsors and a large amount of money raised to support them for the first year while they settle and look for employment so they can become self-sufficient. We must raise this money by the end of March so the process for their arrival in Canada can begin. We also need to use these funds to help with visas, travel, border crossings, and needed supplies while they await approval.
Will you please consider donating any amount to help these families who are waiting in fear and hiding while trying to come to Canada? We, and they, would appreciate it more than you know.
